We booked a 2-night stay at Ashley Croft for a walking holiday in the beautiful countryside. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy fireplace for cooler evenings. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, fulfilling our extra requests. The proximity to the Fox and Hounds pub was perfect for enjoying a cold pint in the sunshine and their delicious food. The location at the bottom of Buckden Pike and near Dales Way was ideal. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

I recently stayed at a beautiful and scenic small village in Yorkshire Dales Park. The accommodation at Ashley Croft was cosy and peaceful, with a spacious and comfortable bedroom. The host was very kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The cottage was impeccably clean and tidy, and having our own private car space was convenient. The nearby pub, run by the hosts, served delicious homemade food. Plus, being pet-friendly was a fantastic bonus.
There were a few minor drawbacks, such as the faulty lighting in one of the bedrooms, making it a bit dark. However, a table light was provided as a replacement.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming cottage in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a comfortable break. The host was kind and helpful, providing a warm welcome and showing me around the property. I especially appreciated the privacy and independence of the cottage, with the host living upstairs. The private garden was a bonus, perfect for my dogs to play in. The nearby pub, owned by the host, served delicious food and provided a great dining option. Additionally, the location was ideal, with plenty of nearby attractions just a short drive away. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful countryside made for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. I highly recommend this cottage for a delightful stay in the Yorkshire Dales.
I would have liked to have a welcome leaflet with pub timetables, menu, WiFi password, and information about nearby shops and attractions. Additionally, the local walks were not dog-friendly due to the presence of livestock, which limited our outdoor activities with our dog.

Our Christmas stay in the Yorkshire Dales was simply delightful. The small village where we stayed was picturesque and the locals were incredibly friendly. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, perfect for our group which included two disabled individuals. We were pleased to find that the lower barn we stayed in was on one level, making it accessible for everyone. The owners were accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We also enjoyed the homemade food at the nearby pub, which was owned by the same hosts.
While we had a wonderful time overall, there were a couple of drawbacks. the location was further away from our desired destination than we had initially thought, so a car was necessary to explore the area.

The location was perfect for our walking holiday, with easy access to the Dales Way and Buckden Pike. We also enjoyed the proximity to the local pub, which served delicious food and had a lovely atmosphere. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the spacious and comfortable apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
The bedroom curtains could have been darker, as they let in too much light for us light sleepers. the Wi-Fi connection only worked in the living room, which was a bit inconvenient.
